Prop Firms

Someone else's capital, your rules.
Prop firms without the marketing fog

I trade evaluation accounts and this site runs on labeled affiliate links — you'll find them below, always marked. The opinions are my own: I pay for my own evals and live with the rulebooks.

Firm terms change often — always verify the current rulebook before buying. Links marked "Check" are affiliate.

How I judge firms — my criteria

  • Drawdown type — intraday trailing can kill an account on a profitable day; EOD and static forgive much more.
  • Consistency rules — a cap on how much profit one day can contribute is the most common payout trap.
  • Payout policy — frequency, minimums and haircuts decide the real value of an account more than the eval price.
  • Copier rules — if you trade multiple accounts, the rulebook has to explicitly allow it.

Before you buy your first eval

  • An eval is a learning cost, not an investment — budget resets up front instead of treating each one as failure.
  • Start with the smallest account and one micro contract — the cushion builds slower, but the account lives longer.
  • Read the rulebook before buying, not after your first violation. Seriously.
  • A prop firm is a counterparty, not a partner — diversify once your size grows.
