Tradeify, MyFundedFutures and Take Profit Trader: Rules Compared on a 50K Account

All three firms ask for $3,000 on a 50K with a $2,000 drawdown, and their eight 50K plans look alike until the funded stage. The evaluation and funded rules plan by plan, which accounts trail open profit, how the payout buffers work, what each costs, and where NinjaTrader and bots fit.

Tradeify, MyFundedFutures and Take Profit Trader: Rules Compared on a 50K Account

Between them, Tradeify, MyFundedFutures (MFFU) and Take Profit Trader (TPT) sell eight different 50K accounts, and seven of them start with the same evaluation goal: $3,000 of profit without losing $2,000 from the high. The eighth, Tradeify Lightning, skips the evaluation. The real differences start after the target, in how the funded account's floor moves, when the first payout is allowed and what share of it the trader keeps. Everything below is from the firms' help centers at the time of writing (October 30, 2026), except where a third-party source is named; the same comparison for Lucid, Topstep and Apex, with worked scenarios, is in Lucid vs Topstep vs Apex, and the evaluation model itself in the pillar.

Only TPT charges a monthly fee, and only TPT charges an activation fee, $130, though its own promotion code waives it. MFFU's list prices are discounted most of the time; its site showed promotional prices between $92 and $159 for these plans at the time of writing. A soft daily loss limit stops trading for the day without failing the account. A consistency limit caps the best day's share of the total profit; at all three firms, going over it means more profit is needed, not a failed evaluation. The consistency rule shows how that target moves.

The Select caps apply to accounts bought from September 1, 2026; earlier accounts have $3,000 on Flex and $1,000 on Daily, and Select Daily also pays at most twice the profit made since the last payout.

What separates them

Two of these funded accounts, MFFU Rapid and TPT PRO, trail the floor from the highest equity including open profit. A long that runs $1,200 in your favor and is stopped out at +$400 moves the floor up $1,200 on those accounts and $400 on an end-of-day account, so a trader who lets winners breathe gives up cushion on every winner that runs and comes back. MFFU sells Rapid EOD for exactly that trader. Trailing drawdown explained walks through both types.

At MFFU and TPT, and on Tradeify's Select Daily, the first withdrawal comes only from profit above a buffer of about $2,000; Tradeify Growth's $53,000 balance requirement does the same job. With MFFU's $500 minimum, that means about $2,600 of profit before the first payout ($3,100 on Pro, where the minimum is $1,000). Select Flex and Lightning have no buffer, but Flex pays at most half of what's there and Lightning wants $3,000 first.

TPT's Test bills monthly, about $170 going by TPT's own promotion examples, plus $130 when the PRO account opens, so a trader who needs two months spends roughly $470. TPT's public NOFEE40 code cut the Test to about $102 a month and credited the $130 at the time of writing, which brings the same two months to about $204. Tradeify and MFFU charge once. On the other side of the ledger, TPT PRO has no payout cap and pays from the first day.

Tradeify pays 90% on every plan. MFFU pays 90% on the Rapid accounts and 80% on Builder and Pro. TPT pays 80% on PRO and 90% on PRO+, its live tier, which is by invitation only.

Tradeify allows news trading on all accounts. MFFU bans holding positions or orders from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after the top-tier releases (the FOMC decision and minutes, the jobs report, CPI) on its Rapid and Pro funded accounts, and the Rapid EOD plan page says the same. TPT's PRO rules require being flat from 1 minute before to 1 minute after the FOMC statement, the jobs report and CPI.

All three connect to NinjaTrader 8: Tradeify only through Tradovate, MFFU through Tradovate, TPT through CQG or Rithmic. On bots they split three ways: Tradeify allows a strategy only if you can prove it's yours alone, MFFU allows automated strategies with your own settings, and TPT bans bots and algorithms on all its accounts and requires every trade to be entered by hand. Automated trading on a prop account has the details.

None of this produces a winner, because each rule costs a different kind of trader. A trader with uneven days avoids Tradeify Growth's 35% and Lightning's 20%; one who takes payouts often looks at Select Daily, MFFU Rapid or TPT PRO and pays for it with a buffer, an intraday floor or a lower split. I don't hold accounts at any of the three, so this is a reading of their rulebooks rather than a review.
